Ross Desprez

Vancouver Island University graduate; B.F.A. and M.F.A., University of Victoria

Acting instructor with 16 years experience in professional theatre as an actor, writer, director, stage manager and technician.

Eliza Gardiner

M.A. Drama, University of Toronto, 1996. B.F.A. Film, York University, 1992.

First year theatre history instructor, Eliza specializes in Greek tragedy and comedy; a playwright and director with 10 years experience, Eliza has toured through B.C with her young people’s theatre company, Earth Muffin Productions. In Nanaimo, Eliza is Artistic Director of Red Room Studio; recently, Eliza adapted and directed "The Tempest" and "Oresteia".

Leon Potter

BFA in Theatre from University of Victoria and M.A. from England's RADA and King's College, London

Leon is a former member of the Directors Guild of Great Britain and artistic Director of the Looking Glass Theatre in Vancouver. Currently the Artistic Director of Blue Peanut Productions, Leon has worked in theatre for the past 12 years in London and Vancouver.

Michael Taugher

B.F.A., University of Calgary

Stagecraft instructor with over 25 years of experience in academic theatre, at the University of Calgary, Mount Royal College and Vancouver Island University. Extensive experience as a freelance set/lighting designer and technical director.
